This instance was Pastor’s choice for Bible Study.
The (LCMS) 3-year lectionary (pericope) had the lesson on paying to Caesar what is Caesar’s.
I don’t have my references in front of me, so I can’t say what the 1-year lectionary has for this Sunday or was the A&H (ancient and historic) pericope is.
On the latter, maybe our RC Friends could let us know the Gospel lesson from today.
I’ll ask on the new thread.

I’m such a dolt! I didn’t finish my sentence. Blue light blocking glasses! I get mine from Peepers. They have plain lenses, if you don’t need readers and reading glasses that have blue light blocking film? on them.
Good on you for exercise. I did join the Y last week. Their pool is open. It was kind of an adventure. Normally during the winter I swim at 24 hour fitness. But their pool is closed. Because, you know, tons of chlorine and covid.... (haha sarcasm). So I reserve a lane on line for 7:15 PM. Oh boy. I get there, they had us line up on a number for the lane. First come, first serve. So I pick the middle lane... #6. No one on either side of me. My first thought was.. “what is wrong with lane 6?” LOL. Yeah.. it’s 7’ deep!!! No stopping in that lane. And the water comes all the way up to the top of the pool and splashes over this guard thing that’s rougher than a brick. So I’m sitting on the side of the pool, on that rough thing, getting ready to jump in, when I look at the end, and it’s dark outside, so it’s kinda creepy, have a TOTAL panic attack, rip my goggles off, put a mask and snorkel on (good thing I brought it hahahah) and start swimming. Good swim, but it energized me lol. So there I was at 11 pm that night mopping the kitchen floor.

Sorry, I didn’t finish my thought! Blue light blocking reading glasses. I get mine from Peepers. They are pricey, but they are good quality lenses. They have no correction lenses if you want to watch tv, and readers, which I wear all the time when I’m on the computer. They really are helpful! I bought some from Amazon, but I don’t know about the quality of the blue light blocking film on the glasses?

I love to swim but learned in the ocean and much prefer ocean swimming which is not available here. I read that in Europe they often have, or at least used to have, salt water swimming pools. Does the same thing as chlorine but not nasty. I would love that.

However, the first story was that the police took the lap top when they arrested Weiner for his texting and referred it to the FBI.

The pattern I see is that there is hard evidence of a crime and the FIBs sit on it and/or suppress it.

Probably each dirty pol group etc. has more than one person at strategic levels covering their rear.
It is always possible that a true investigation with no leaks is going on.
However, I would say that the upper levels of the FBI has always been more of a blackmail and/or cover up for certain people—J. Edgar’s method of operation. I think it got worse after the Clinton’s went to DC. and has continued the slide.
While some have been weeded out, I think it could take another 100 years of effort to have anything like what we should have.
