The military should have special arrangements, as should the foreign service. Just telling them “too bad” isn’t right. It’s like that moron that keeps saying their kids aren’t NBC if they were born overseas while the troops are stationed there serving their country.

Everyone on earth qualifies as an NBC now after Obama and congressional resolutions. My brother understood ab initio that he was not qualified to be President because he was born in Istanbul while my father was stationed there as advisor to the Turkish Naval Academy. That used to be the rule until a number of prominent non NBC politicians got it all swept aside for themselves and everyone else, too, in the interest of getting Hussein Obama elected to office. What especially hurtful is that most of them are/were Republicans. And Kamala is an anchor baby. Fifty years ago she would have been barred from running for VP. The rule was, since 1788 or so that NBC required two citizen parents and born in the United States proper, or in the colonies that became the United States. And all the Republicans redefined it to include Cruz and Rubio and McCain because NBC could't possibly be construed to be a hindrance to our guy. That is the same attitude that almost defines the Democrat Party, nothing is inappropriate for our side. If that item in the Constitution can be treated that way so can the rest of it.

Actually McCain was born to two American citizens (one of them Admiral) in Panama canal zone. That was then US possession. Regardless of my feeling towards him, I think that would qualify him as NBC.
However, a matter of fact, he himself was not sure if he qualified, he hired some lawyer to investigate and argue.

No exceptions. But it doesn’t matter. The rule is dead as if Congress redacted it in the Constitution. I wonder if the original copy in the museum has black redaction marks on it now. That Congressional excision of an item in the Constitution has worried me since that Resolution. If the Democrats sweep the boards they will assume the power to amend the Constitution by majority vote in the House and the newly expanded USSC will uphold.

I hope Freepers agree that it's high time we stop being afraid of creating our own fake news to help level the playing field. Gotta fight fire with fire. Don't know about the rest of you but I am dam sick and tired of conservatives being kicked around by the media and tech companies. Time to jump in and not be afraid of getting our hands dirty. Don't talk to me about morals. Morals don't win wars. If you don't already know that this is a war we are in. Everything is fair in war.
