Is this wireless microphone system a fair rival to Shure?

I heard of this sometime ago and thought it could be a solution for what your looking for.

Same to you !
I noticed a lot of you commenting on their reel-to reels. I have three nice 10” machines, all of which have succumbed to the same condition. Old age and lack of use has turned the lubricating oil into GLUE !
The fix is to tear them down, remove the nasty stuff and re-lube. Do so and the deck should last another 30 or 40 years, if the caps don’t go bad first.
Tear-down and re-assembly can be done but a service manual is highly recommended and the insides of those mechanical beasties are truly wonderful to behold. Not to mention full of springy thingies and parts that would not be out of place in a watch (mechanical of course).
Given the man-hours involved in such a job I would guesstimate a bill in the $500 price range. If you are lucky enough to have a working machine, keep it working by playing it once every few weeks or so.
3 mixers that I have been looking at (least expensive 1st):
“Zoom” U-24:

Yamaha (bulletproof construction):

The antenna? Most likely. The receiver, wireless mike transmitter & microphone itself aren’t included in that DIY build. But if you have those and are just looking for a receiver antenna this could be the answer.
Agree with Behringer. A great resource on that:
