It's non stop wall to wall "Get the Poke so your life can go back to normal". People that are unengaged, like a vast majority of the US population hears that as "Get the Poke and COOF goes away". Well it doesn't go away after the Poke. Someone, somewhere may have said that a while ago, but people didn't get the memo. Now they are not only overly fearful of a virus with a 99%+ survival rate, they are confused because the COOF isn't going away like the nice people on TV said it would.
The latest statistics above are from May. The 30% is from July or August.
The “vaccines” are working. They are a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu. Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria and drop their precautions thus get the flu and help reach herd immunity. The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.
They will eventually run out of fearporn adjectives and Greek alphabet designation.
I am wondering when the vaccinated suffering from side effects will become resentful because they sacrificed to “reduce the rate of infection” and “flatten the curve” while the unvaccinated did nothing. Someday they will understand that the vaccine did short of not much except give a lot of them long term problems. Their sacrifice will have been for not much at all.
I wonder when the giverment will promote this idea of their sacrifice and how they will use it? Hmmm?
Covid-19 is not ever going away. Not in terms of a lifetime. Maybe someday. All of us will get it in one form or another, mild or otherwise. Better sooner mild I suppose.

The vax has decent penetration. Too bad it appears it doesn’t work very well.
When your host pool is 100s of millions, mutations will come quickly. Innumerable will be benign. But a few will be hell on wheels. An R naught of 8 for Delta is sobering. Same as Chickenpox.
And no vaccine tech can keep up with that.
They should withdraw vaccines and encourage everyone to get sick. Today.

For the population at large, agreed! Those that are elderly or have pre-existing health issues that want the vax like they might get for influenza (for example) should be allowed into a trial. They need to leave the rest of us alone.
The feds need to revoke the EUA's, per the language in them, and stop harassing/demonizing/firing/mandating the people over this thing.
And for cryin-out-loud...let the little urchins back into the classroom and do it WITHOUT any freaking piece of germ infested cloth over their faces.
I think the fact that it is now recommended and/or mandated that everyone in certain groups (like today the military) are required to be vaccinated regardless of whether they have already had COVID and have natural immunity from the COVID antibodies is one big reason the information from the powers that be is lacking credibility (along with the change in narrative every day).
Honestly, I think they have no idea what they are doing. They are in way over their heads. Are making it up as they go along. And are not letting this crisis go to waste.

For millennia mankind has employed the method of exposing children early in life to harsh diseases.
It’s the very best long term method of inoculation.

That’s a VERY wise move by Iceland. Locking down the economy yet again would do nothing beneficial. The “LET ‘ER RIP” strategy to achieve herd immunity is reality based. Those Icelanders who want to be vaccinated are vaccinated. IF they get COVID-19 and survive, those who are unvaccinated will get NATURAL IMMUNITY. Vaccinated Icelanders who get a “breakthrough” COVID-19 “case” will have their immunity strengthened.
GOOD MOVE, ICELAND. Herd immunity is good.
