The only thing appropriate to say about the white statues regarding color is that they were not all white. They were fully painted in garish colors but all the paint flaked off long ago.
Its when they start smashing the statues in the name of diversity, you know they have joined the Taliban/ISIS
As contrasted with the diversity featured in Chinese, Indian and African art of the same eras ....
English YouTuber ‘History Debunked’s’ take on this.

They should also explain that the white sculptures were originally painted very vivid colors.
Thanks rdl6989. Some weirdo at the British Museum had all the remaining original paint sandblasted off the Elgin Marbles (from the Parthenon) because he just thought it looked better. The Greeks and Romans decorated their statues and other carvings with paint jobs, basically the way we moderns do with lawn dwarves and such. The Egyptians also painted up their sculptures to make them appear more lifelike, despite their scale, and possible mythological figures.
Who cares if it had diversity? It DID, but the more diverse were slaves. Not speaking of skin color, but ethnicity.
Sheesh.
The world is experiencing a mass psychosis.

That just may be the dumbest thing that I’ve ever heard of....
Unbelievable, but also quite believable due to the craziness of wokeness.
I’ve seen restorations/simulations of what buildings in Pompeii would have looked like freshly painted. Very colorful and very beautiful.
Embarrassingly woke.
An innkeeper who fed his guests human flesh. A bandit who hacked travelers' legs off and let them bleed to death. A centurion who specialized in killing senators. Although we don't know much about serial killers in the Roman world, there's no doubt that they existed.Chapters:
