WAR OUTSIDE (Monica Hesse).
So far, I’m enjoying it, good young adult novel, but I’m leery of any wokeness (i.e. weak fathers).

Reading "Farewell to Arms" (Hemmingway).
Just finished "Battle for the Falklands" by Hastings and Jenkins - excellent detail on political angles, logistics, individual units and tactics. Highly recommend to history junkies.

Also reading Bear Attacks Their Causes and Avoidance by Stephen Herrero as research.
Rather anthropocentric, but Herrero has had enormous influence.

Swan’s Way by Proust. It’s slow going but I’m determined to finish it and see what all the fuss is about.
