Nefertiti pulled off one of the most amazing cover-ups in history.
She loses her oldest son the crown prince (Tutankhamen) suddenly (as does every Egyptian family in one night). She then suddenly loses her husband and most of the army, drowned in the Red Sea after expelling all of the Hebrews, which brought Egypt the affluence mentioned.
Egypt is powerless, having been defeated militarily, socially, morally, and economically; and her enemies are yet unaware what has happened. Their leader and army is at the bottom of the Red Sea.
She keeps her husband alive by propaganda, marries another to keep up appearances (name change), then changes the country to monotheism, because all of the Egyptian gods were defeated by plagues. The she moves the capitol in haste to complete the cover-up and for security; most likely to her traditional family land.
Hawass Is a conman. They have dna, that’s true. 70% of the UK shares dna with the Pharos. While only 3% of modern-day Egyptians share that same dna.

Her name should be pronounced in the original
language as it was : “Never Tighty”

My wife, adult daughter and I saw him speak at a local library event about 6 weeks ago. We often had seen him on Discovery channels and my home-schooled daughter learned a fair bit about Egyptology from his programs; it was kind-of a treat to see him in person.
The lecture was mostly a slide show of him at sites, mostly with various celebrities and presidents. The main thing I recall is that he said “Josh Gates talks too much”. (Gates is a host of Discovery program ‘Expedition Unknown’ which has featured Hawass a few times).
He boosted his Egyptian tours, and sold books and autographs in the lobby (free with a book). We didn’t buy one, but it was still an entertaining evening (he really is full of himself).
