Leftist Portland probably doesn't understand that the so-called "federal" funding that it is receiving is arguably city tax revenues that the very corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress stole from Portland by means of unconstitutional federal taxes according to the excerpt from Gibbons v. Ogden above, taxes that Congress cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
In other words, the feds are exploiting Portland constitutionally low-information voters, including low-information city government leaders, the corrupt feds unsurprisingly trying to buy Portland's votes in a pivotal election year with unconstitutional, unaccountable money that they stole from Portland.
Trumps red tsunami of patriot supporters, including closet Trump-supporing Democrats, need to vote Republican in November.
