Sprite with alcohol...
See, you get it...
if you are looking for a dryer (less sweet) red try a cabernet or a Merlot if you like a lot of flavor.
better recognizable store brands are Toasted Head and the Kangaroo does pretty well. Two buck Chuck is passible for the price. They won second place internationally in 2013 and I am still finishing off a case.
That was Zimas motto…..
“Tastes as good coming up as it did going down!”
The Mrs and I are case club members at von Stiehl.
A lot of awards, none of it expensive, and never had anything I didnt like.
For some reason, back in the day, people were putting Jolly Ranchers in the Zima bottles.
Was that some kind of homage to Brokeback Mountain?
It was quite a while before that, but Zima was gay enough by itself.
I usually drank Molson Ice back then. When funds were low Olde English 800.
My wife makes me drink 1 glass of Penot Noir (peanut Noah in my book) nightly because it’s supposed to be good for your heart. The glass is maybe 4oz... It’s disgusting but I try to comply 5 out of 7 days.
I showed her a study where a glass of whiskey is better than wine health wise. My end game is to reverse the compliance to 5 days of a glass of whiskey to 2 days wine.
Otherwise beer 7 days a week 🤣🤣🤣
Moscatos are sweet wines. If you want dry, go for it. You might be after a pinot grigot. Me, I’m a cheapskate and learned to make my own, combining that skill with my foraging skill to make cheap booze.
But back in the early to 70s it was $1.00 give or take!!
Moscato is NOT for dinner....are you over 16?......dessert wine at best...it’s a sugar high...ugh.
Moscato, which we old Californians knew as Muscatel, can be mixed with any cheap red wine (2/3 red and about 1/3 moscato); add frozen fruit (a mix of pineapple, strawberry, peach, etc.,) available at most stores; then add a cube of ice to cool it down some more and you have a nice refreshing cooler.
Sulfides cause shortness of breath for me. Weird.
Actually if you are a senior citizen, like me, and have any sort of circulatory issues, you cardiologist will tell you that the best amount of alcohol is zero.
I remember that. Cheap buzz!
When I was in college in Virginia, the State ABC store closed at 6PM, so you were limited to convenience store beer and wine. The wines in the BP were heavily fortified. Besides the MD 20/20 you showed, we had our choice of Red Rocket, White Rocket and “Old Mr. Mack”. They were all in the same class.
Spoil sport.
Sigh
PTrump is living proof, though.
