I’m guessing a “loaded” baked potato - which is what they try to push on you at restaurants - is not the best strategy to follow.

Yay! Gotta love taters!
I’ve come to the conclusion there is no one-size-fits-all diet. We each have a unique body, particular metabolism, health concerns, and these also change with stage of life.

I cut Brussels Sprouts in half, fry them in butter and olive oil, add some red pepper flakes, and then bake for about 20 min at 325. My children often request them.

Eat the taters, just leave off the sour cream, cheese, butter and bacon bits!....................use olive oil instead of butter and you will never go back!...............

By filling a plate with potatoes as opposed to foods with a higher calorie count, scientists suggested this would eventually help people lose weight. Scientist 1: Gee, this seems like it do something good. Maybe we should test that ...?
Scientist 2: No time for that foolery! Alert the media!
