as usual, science gets it wrong on everything BUT gloBULL warming (sarc). Which is apparently the only “settled” science there is.

Why do you miss them? There isn’t a shortage that I have observed. Go have some.

When I do have a baked tater it's a sweet tater. I use a spritz of the margarine spray and a dollop of yogurt. Healthier than sour cream.

But I'll start buying some small reds for inclusion in soups/stews instead of cauliflower.

Those little larvae in Brussels sprouts are good, though.

I cut them out of my normal diet for health reasons (Type 2). But moderation being the key to success...I’ll start using the small ‘new potatoes’ on occasion.

Potatoes that are reheated are fantastic. Potatoes are a critical part of a diet for someone who is highly active (mountain hiker, etc).

I will be so glad when this low carb BS has finally run its course. My macros are about 25% fat, 25% protein, and 50% carbs, and I am in far better shape than most people I talk to that are on low carb diets. Weight lifting sucks with low carb diets too. Sucks the power and stamina right out of you to restrict them.
