When you defend them, you defend the First Amendment.

If you don't defend them, you create precedents that will be used against us.

I thought the Patriot Act taught us that much. Conservatives cheered for the Patriot Act in the 2000s because it would be used against "the Muzzies." Conservative sneered at Ron Paul for warning that it would eventually be used against us.

They should have posted “Men cannot be Women. Women cannot be Men. Homosexual acts should be illegal.”

That would subside if we could get the “Amish” and “people who annoy” you posters off FreeRepublic.

The hell I did. I know history.

Exactly.

Anti-fa and BLM burn cities to the ground and the media report “mostly peaceful demonstrations.”

Hanging a sign? Long, hard time in prison.

This is a hugely important case. I wrote about it here a few days ago.

Let's stipulate that this was a dopey thing to do.

The ultimate issue, though, is, "Does America, like Germany after 1945, have a Basic Law (Grundgesetz) which comes before and stands superior to the Constitution, such that things which would be protected by Amendments I, II, IV, V, VI and VIII can be punished by legislation or by administrative action?

The various acts of courts and executive branch agencies carried out under the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 are examples of what I'm talking about.

And the issue is an old one.

Abraham Lincoln apparently believed that declarative statements in the Declaration of Independence were superior to the Constitution, and that acts carried out in defense of the "true meaning" of the Declaration were legal even if they violated the rights of individuals or States which were protected by the Constitution.

There are many things proposed by anti-white race radicals in this very day which could be defended in this exact manner.

The "true meaning" of the Declaration, similar to the "Spirit of Vatican II" and many other similar examples throughout history are unlimited grants of power to people who could never get what they want through popular elections or legislation.

These two dopes in NH should be defended "à outrance", because if they can be convicted based on their ideas, no one, certainly no one here, is safe.

“First they came for the Neo-Nazis.....”

That's literally true.

For 20 years, Amazon's policy was to carry every book in the world ever published. But after much pressure, in 2017 they began banning books. The first to be banned, at the behest of the World Jewish Congress, were Holocaust denial books.

But of course, the deplatforming didn't stop there. Once Jewish groups got their way, Amazon had to cater to the LGBT lobby, and Covid critics, and all manner of other groups.

But yes, first they came for the Nazis. You always first go after the most unsympathetic group to create a precedent.

It would be a start. Until then, we’re fighting an uphill battle promoting conservatism to America.

Or if black males would behave in equivalent fashion to white males.
You’re black, and you’re blind.

You don’t seem to understand the concept of precedent. Nor the concept of principle.

We are not Nazis

To be a party member, you would have had to be 18 years old on May 7, 1945.

The youngest Nazi is 95 years old.

You are not a Nazi, and neither are these dopes.
