Walmart made the decision to switch to cheap mostly made Chinese goods, what 30 years ago? Sam’s concept was dropped.
Someone HAD to know in their company the switch would lose manufacturing jobs and eventually cause a drop on buying power from average Americans. That loss of stores as the country lost high buying power would be inevitable.
IMHO I think they said “hell with it…we will have made our fortunes then so who cares?”.
Progs HATE Walmart with a burning passion. NOW. They will complain about the “food deserts” because Walmart is closing in “underserved communities of color.”

My employer sells to Walmart. All American manufactured products. Walmart requires us to prove our label claims. No other customer does that.
The females commit their fair share.
If you watch “cops” or similar shows you will see that black females rarely commit violent crimes.
There is the occasional highly publicized brawl but that is the exception that proves the rule.
They are much more likely to be involved in shoplifting or being accessories after the fact obstructing justice or harboring their black male “good boy” son or baby daddy.

Tempest in a tea cup. These guys have 10,500+ stores in operation. They close some dogs every few years — it means nothing other than the store was a looser, too old or otherwise problematic. They open this many in a month.
These guys are sharp operators. For a couple of decades I did millions in construction for them. Great people to deal with for the most par,t but of course, in construction there were 15% nasty clods.
The Religion of Politics began preaching the Social Justice Gospel almost as soon as the civil and voting rights bills were signed. It was all about manufacturing a permanent sense of societal resentment among negroes. This cohort was then told, repeatedly, that by voting Democrat they would be able to get everything they had been cheated out of and , would be made whole in the bargain, and become healthy, wealthy and wise. All that was needed was to keep being resentful of whitey for slavery, etc and keep voting Democrat. Because negroes were historical victims they did not have to try to lead a life of domestic virtue marked by self respect, not based on historical grievance, but that most difficult thing , normality i e; finish high school, get and keep a job, don’t have children until one is married and, ideally, can fully support them, generally obey the laws, especially those that deal with inter personal relations and community standards. These things sound banal and simple minded. In reality they are truly hard to do just due to objective circumstances. Negro leadership prior to the civil rights agitation, constantly preached trying to live this sort of life. It was called ‘upward striving’ understanding how hard it was for many blacks to stay on the straight and narrow. That, incidentally, was why when it was released most black civic and religious groups exploded in rage over ‘Porgy and Bess’, seeing it, not incorrectly, as the glorification of everything they hated and wanted black people to reject.
The effects of the Religion of Politics and the Social Justice gospel have been catastrophic for perhaps half of all negroes. They have been wrecked as completely as the socalled Palestine Arabs by the same force of societal coddling, cultivation of a global sense of resentment and its concommitment of victimhood removes all responsibility. Originally the Democrats just saw this as buying a voting constituency as industrial trade unionism began to fade. Now, the social justice doctrine is fully embraced which preaches perpetual entitlement, virtuous whitey hating and equality of outcomes through reparations and deliberate harms to middle class white people. This departure is truly toxic and has a potential to end in mass ethnic violence of a tribalized sort.

Yeah, rent a U-Haul for one day ($19.95) and then just KEEP IT! Happens on “On Patrol Live” all the time.
You can just walk out the door with the keys and U-Haul (or any other rental company) won’t press charges, they are just happy to get their vehicle back in one piece.
The dimocrats are at all the Interstate off-ramps holding signs that say, “Anything helps”.

It used to be a nice area but the democrat party run LA City Council located 30 miles away is moving homeless up there into a empty hotel half a block away and building a multi story building across from a high school that is a couple blocks more down the same road and a block from a grade school.
The homeless camp by the railroad tracks next to the mall that Ralphs is at. The home owners and business’s have been ignored in their complaints on what is happening.
When the Lord closes a wall, somewhere He opens a gate.
