“I was building a house. I don’t deserve to die like this.”
One of those who escaped the all the phony BS in Hollywood. He’s a recluse for good reason. Escaping that madness is probably why he’s still alive.
I was told that i need to see this movie...

Improvised by Hackman. But you probably knew that.
I loved him in Mississippi Burning and No Way Out.
My favorite. Edgy. Intense in spots. Hackman was brilliant as Harry Caul.
He looks thin all right, but I would not say he looks good. His gaze and expression are pretty vacant.

Back on heroin I see. Just couldn’t keep clean.
/French Connection.
Popeye Doyle.
Then there’s the Scarecrow. “She’s got more moves than a snake.” Then there’s Al Pacino in the same movie: “He tried to phuck me so I kicked the shit outta him”.
Yup. He was awesome as Lex Luthor (”Kill me? Lex Luthor?”) and in Enemy of the State. In fact, I can’t think of any bad roles he starred in. The worst you can say is that he often seemed to play the same character over and over.
Considering he looked like this 50 years ago, he's holding up pretty well!
Great actor.
I’ve made some espresso!
I guess when you get to 93 there’s not that much difference between a “hard” 93” and an “easy” or “soft” 93.
maybe i’ll put it on tonight.
*To me he’ll always be the blind hermit in “Young Frankenstein.”*
I was going to make an expresso! That’s right up there with MASH-You forgot your shingle.
That or French Connection.
I used to hang out in a bar with Edie Egan.
