I’ve been waiting for this! I knew it would turn out great. It’s beautiful! I like how you used the trim of the bed sheet on the bottom of the apron. Clever Girl! :)
You are going to have so much fun wearing that. Love all the YoYos! :)
Thanks. I used to make a lot of clothes for our daughter between the ages of 3 and maybe 6. Mostly dresses skirts and jumpers. She was squirmy so I would just lay her on the carpet on top of some butcher paper and draw a pattern. I never use patterns.
My Mom and her BFF had two girls each, spaced almost exactly apart so there were, in essence, the FOUR of us. Betty, Diana, Bonnie & Carrie.
They used to sew clothing for us all that matched. Play clothes or pretty dresses for the holidays. We loved it. :)
And then little Michael came along - and no one sewed for him, LOL! He ended up as a local celebrity musician with his own rock band and a few albums, so they both did ‘costuming’ for him. His musical partner at the time still has his own show in Vegas. Mikey opted for marriage and family. ;)
Just ran across this…

Neat video.
Thanks for these threads, Diana,
Wow! Those are awesome… Zuriel does fine work! And metal as a medium really does those prehistoric critters justice!
