I used to like this song in the 60's and 70's when Bossa Nova was in it's zenith.
this generation only knows it from the recent netflix version of "the girl from ipanema" which was used as a platform for feminaziism , an entire series dedicated to how horrible men are.
kind of a shame that the song got hijacked by feminist netflix propaganda ( but I still bingewatched (cringewatched) the entire series

She was singing the song as a demo, her vocals are never intended to be released. Jaoa Gilberto's daughter by another wife, Babel is a good singer.
