It wasn’t intentional. Wink, wink…

The Super Bowl is in Vegas this year. They have a similar turf to the field in Arizona.

Indoor stadiums = more $$$, year-round comfort.

You can grow grass in there, but it’s not like real black and blue division tough guys American football without snow and rain. Lions, Vikings, the Pack, Da Bears were always most dangerous in those days.

Out for the year. And possibly his career.

It’s no coincidence that the Vikings haven’t been back to the Super Bowl since moving indoors.

They used to call The Met, “The 23rd Viking” for a reason.

BTW... Called this from the start... Rodgers wants his money... Period! He isn’t interested in playing football and he knows his legacy...

1 Super Bowl ring from 1 Super Bowl appearance. Whoop-de-doo dah day.

Maybe from a legal view, but the problems would be nationwide.

Apparently the concern is the rubber backing is made from recycled tires and such, and contain lead and other chemicals, and as the rubber breaks down over wear and water, the players get exposed to these chemicals.

Yeah, that pretty much says it all, that it's a tear.
Game. Set. Match. See you in Canton, Aaron.

It's better for revenue that's for sure. But if I'm a star like Rodgers, I'm not going to play on a turf.

But anyway, in 20 years, 80% of NFL stadium will be dome so they can host Taylor Swift concerts and March Madness games.

Old age catches up to us all...
For me it occurred when I was 78 and had to give up bodybuilding...

The Players Union should do something about this.

The NFL Network is already showing a list of available (old) QB’s, and another list of backup QB’s, that the Jets could call to fill the spot.

Yup. Damn shame. After all those years of Rodgers making noise about leaving Green Bay, he got to take - what - four snaps for another team? Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a torn Achilles and he can be back later this season.
