I was over at my oldest daughters the other day and used her DELL windows 10 or 11 not sure which it is to get on freerepublic. Her mouse was so touchy you just barely move it or click it and it goes crazy. I got a double posting that day.
I know you can go in and reset the touch. My daughter didn’t want to be bothered.

I don’t go to bed until around that time so then I don’t have to get up from bed AS MUCH. :-)

I don’t think fast typing would be the problem. I mean weren’t we taught to type fast?
I think it is when you click the “Post” button (because the mouse is so touchy) you can’t get off of it fast enough, so it double posts.
That makes since,okay will keep that in mind!

When you say “here” does that mean ONLY when on the TT? Are there other places where you would need to use the mouse and hit post but those places are fine?

It’s exit. He has a double-post machine and when he wants the numbers for the thread boosted a bit, he just turns it on for awhile. He keeps it in the closet, next to his weather machine. He also has a machine that projects Big Foot running about if he aims it into the woods.

I went through a few days of double posts as well. I didn’t change anything, didn’t do anything different....they just happened. I suspect (but I have no idea how or why) it has more to do with the FR site than our individual setups.
