I have honestly never heard of this giant Big Tech.
“The reality of Nextdoor is those few administrators controlling neighborhood Nextdoor sites ...”
The reality is that the liberals control the unpaid moderator positions and once they get you kicked off you can’t get back on.
They got that right here in S FL - it's a joke, and cannot possibly be earning much revenue. Condo association wars and people asking about traffic several hours ago. Yawn.
90% of it is spam
At the end of 2022, Nextdoor had 704 employees.. the San Francisco company .. 200 employees will be impacted by the job cuts.
The job eliminations are part of a larger cost reduction plan that aims to slash Nextdoor’s current personnel expenses by up to $60 million annually..
The company this week reported quarterly losses of $38 million — greater than the $35 million it lost during the same period last year.
Nextdoor Neighbor is an app you can get that is supposed to link you with your local community.
What it becomes is another huge time waste as a large percentage of posts are either “Hey, just saw a lots of sirens and police cars on 1st and Main, Anyone know whats going on?”, “Why is there an airplane making noise over our quiet neighborhood?”, or “My mom is in a bad situation, can you help with money?” crap.
Most of the remainder is political sniping on a scale thats even more annoying than what you have on FR.
Nextdoor would block any anti vaccine talk.
Any anti democrat party talk.
Only this past year could you post about the mass murder by vaccine as it was just so obvious.
Wow… that is SO spot on!
“Most of the remainder is political sniping on a scale thats even more annoying than what you have on FR.”
Hmmm...I don’t know - FR sets an extremely high bar in that area :)
BFD!/s
It is software. Walmart makes you bag and ring up your own purchases.
The trick for the employee is to make himself indispensable.
The trick for the company is to teach a robo-dog to do the employee’s job.
So the secret sauce is working somewhere that you can’t be easily replaced?
Lots of wokesters over there. They hate conservative views or if you get in a heated conversation you get banned. I’ve had many months in ND jail! lol
I happily deleted it about 3 days after a neighbor-lady suggested I get on.
If Karens could circle-j3rk, NextDoor would be where they did so.
“The company this week reported quarterly losses of $38 million — greater than the $35 million it lost during the same period last year.”
After inflation they are doing better than last year—a Cramer “buy” recommendation for sure...
Lol.
(Net present value of zero....)
Lol. BTW, it looks like the nutjob list on your personal page could use some serious updating (although you might run into some space limitation rules).
Jim Cramer has great advice, as long as you do the opposite of whatever he says.
Jim Cramer urged viewers to buy Silicon Valley Bank stock a month before it collapsed.

I tried ND. Good riddance. It’s a waste of time.
As soon as they found out I supported Trump, I got booted.
I’m on the website. You have to be careful what you say.
We must live in the same city.
