So I don’t have enough money to pay for my groceries to feed my baby right here, but I’m going to pop you in the face and saddle myself with court costs, fines, attorney fees and maybe even punitive damages awarded in a lawsuit.

I watched the video. I will not talk about blame here. Because it’s obvious that the shopper (the puncher) is at fault.
Instead I will offer these two points.
1. Do not get into an argument with an irrational person. Keep things calm. You don’t have to agree with the person. But sympathize. Then gently offer a counter-argument. The key word there is “gently”. Or just simply disengage.
2. Remember the Tueller rule: Anyone within 21 feet of you can mess you up before you can usually react. So stay vigilant. And be prepared to block, side-step, and evade.

That’s ridiculous. She’s a pauper. There is no monetary consequence for her. Public defender and maybe jail time, probation for sure. No fines. And she would not be able to have liability insurance if she can’t afford her groceries.
but lets have them reproduce even more now. ugh.
It takes at least a year for all the symptoms such as headaches and difficulty in concentrating to disappear for a concussion like that. There may be long term consequences as well.
Let me guess.. A dispute over chicken nuggets?
