(I used a picture from Wikipedia that has an open license, since the picture in the article is from a banned source.)
Lenbachhaus recently retitled this 1911 painting by August Macke, dropping an outdated, racist term used to describe Native Americans.
Well, you need some kind of description so you can tell what it is.
Indians waiting for the women and children to run from their home that they have just lit on fire.
I am so tired of this crap.
“As a public museum, we are obliged to critically reflect on the Blue Rider and his work in a historical context,” the institution wrote.”
No, you’re not. You’re “obliged” to display the art and keep your opinions to yourselves. Nobody asked you twits what you thought.

American Indians call themselves “Indian” more frequently than than “Native American.” They are not politically correct or moronic on this topic.
White man trying to erase the last of Native Americans.
So “Indians” is now a racist term? Who decided that? Most Indians call themselves Indians.
I guess they need to be deported.
I’d be pissed too if someone confused me with someone from India. It’s a terrible thing to say.
We are doomed. Our world is full of stupid people
Is there anybody else who thinks this painting looks like a piece of crap? If I were an Indian, I wouldn’t want Indian in the title either.
I’m Native....I don’t call myself anything else.
Leave it to a German to change history as they did in the 1930s.
Fucking G******!
I like the coloring of the picture.
LOLOLOL!!
“Heap Big Painting with Squaw”?
“So “Indians” is now a racist term? Who decided that? Most Indians call themselves Indians.”
Kids in school (both public and private) have been taught to say “Native American” for at least 20 years — probably more — and discouraged from using Indian. I had to “re-learn” mine.
In practice, everyone around here says “Indian casinos”.
