Its hard to fathom what goes on in the liberal mind. I worked around lots of them and never ceased to be amazed at how they can block out facts, logic and common sense. Mostly they just emote.
The people of NY walk around unarmed are like fish in a barrel. When will we see vigilantes rise up, or maybe a Batman.

Obviously the writer has no idea what a baseball bat looks like. The attack took place on the upper West side. Pretty ritzy neighborhood. That should get a quick police response.

Perhaps a Fungo Bat, but it does look more like a metal baton or pipe.
Remember the days when a large group of people would attend a baseball game, and as an enticement for fans to come to the stadium, the team would hand out fungo bats, which were often given to little boys who prized it for years afterwards?
Then, when the violent criminals began to take over, that went the way of the Dodo pretty quickly.
Today, we can only view that practice with amazement, and think “My gosh, who ever thought that was a good idea?”
It was a good idea once, when there was civility in the civilization.
The word "random" in the headline told me everything.

DA Alvin Bragger dropped all charges, agreeing with the man that it was reasonable that he mistook her head for a baseball.
Random? I doubt it. I didn’t see a picture of the victim, but I’d guess he attacked the first white or Asian person he came to in an area where he thought he could get away with it.
