Why is the male the one “responsible for the unpaid bill”? Shouldn’t ALL of them be held responsible for it? Where’s that vaunted gender equality the left is always screaming about?
That’s an old game so many blacks have been playing for decades.
I was friends with a couple of people at were head of security for a very large shopping mall. I was told that blacks would regularly use their young children to steal things. They knew the child wouldn’t be punished if caught walking out with it.

Yes, as I’m sure you know, the trick is to take the other person out of the sentence and use which sounds right. Nobody would say, “This brought up old memory of same happening to I many years ago.” That said, I gave up correcting grammar on this site long ago. It’s typically not well received.

If I were to, e.g., mistakenly refer to Puerto Rico as a U.S. state (rather than as a Possession), or incorrectly cite the value of π, I would of course welcome a friendly rectification.
Why should spelling or punctuation be any different?
Generally speaking, FReepers are a hearty, self-confident bunch, and not quick to take offence or become "huffy" over someone pointing out a flaw in their grammar.
Rather, they take that as an opportunity to learn.
