Daddy, it is so cute. Can we keep it? We’ll take care of it- promise!
Gator: “Here kitty kitty kitty….”
I don’t understand how it got in her house. She went to the screen door and saw it, so why didn’t she shut the inside door to keep it out?
We had a three point one four meter snake come into our house recently.
It was a pi thon.
It said it was a Girl Scout and had cookies.
From another article:
“The Venice homeowner said her door had a magnetic closure on it, allowing the gator to push it open.”
“He was pushing through that and it broke the magnetic clasp.”
Looks too big to be able to grab it by the tail (with gloves of course) and drag it out of the house by that tail.
I’m guessing that at a certain size they are too strong and dangerous to be able to manhandle that way? 2 feet? 3 feet?
Or land shark. : )
I think article was a bit vague
Thanks.
“squatters”
And you see what happened....woman calls law, law showed up and kicked it out.....and that goes for the TWO legged kind here now as well.

Daddy: “Sure we can keep it! Tastes like chicken!”
Yup. Catch and release…
From the article at the link
“If you’re wondering how the alligator got in, it pushed its way through Hollenback’s door.
“It’s just a magnet, but he was pushing on this and eventually just broke the magnetic connection and came through the door,” she said.
A gust of wind will open those magnetic closures.
Note to bad guys - Mary has nothing to keep her or her home safe. She doesn’t even have a guard gator anymore.
Sounds like the inside door was open and she just had the screen door closed with just a magnet.
Yeah I think that’s what happened. Bad choice on her part but she came out OK.
