Maybe the parents (who appear to still be married) don't want their daughter running around with criminal ghetto trash?
And yeah, he's probably significantly older.
Anyhow, that's my totally uninformed take on the situation. I may be 100% wrong.
At one time not long ago, the wealthy suburbs were mostly red.
Now the same suburbs are almost all blue.
The grandchildren of the WASP country clubs and prep schools are the ones that turned them blue.
These people are not only financially backing the current craziness but also leading the charge.
It is generational for a reason.
Regardless, some guys here have young daughters that will will rebel and push their buttons. If they’re not careful, that is a button that they will be pushing.
