As an undergrad at UCSD, I had to suffer through the kind of explosive diarrhea contained in the excerpt above. It is exactly the level of thought observed in the graduate students in the Literature department. The key learning experience is identifying this kind of mental masturbation and ensuring that individuals steeped in that mindset never get hired into your own workplace.

I glanced at other papers this author wrote and yikes! He’s not exactly a brainiac. Lots of nonsensical jargon, trendy “woke” words, delusional thinking... and apparently he is at Deakin U in Australia which describes itself as a “progressive, innovative and open-minded university.”
