I will have try to find one, but it likely will be in Russian. My wife was a child psychologist and director or a large kindergarten in Volgograd. She had also attended a lay seminary. She was on the committee that wrote the program, which Putin pushed through the Duma and then signed into law. She never met Putin, but that is what Spanalot is referring to when he says she worked for Putin.
Was this smart of the guy to threaten a coup?
Iraq should have more time as an autocracy and slowly turn to a representative government.
Not really - Litvenenko knew that the Orthodox church in Russia is STILL infested by the KGB - his last wish to be buried in a Muslim ceremony was the last desperate act of defiance to those that killed him.
YEs the shotgun primer would explode the hexene - mercury fulminate is still used in Russia for shotgun primers and this is a high velocity explosive - well proven on an other FR thread.

Wonder what he did to get sent to Siberia?
Regarding my comment that you seem to think mirrors yours, I was responding to a guy who said he would be hapy to kill 2% of innocent suspects in order to get the other 98%.
THAT is completely unAmerican and beyond reproach.
Given your stance on the state of affairs in Russia (I think), you should understand this.
In your particular case, somebody voiced a legitemate disagreement with your opinion.
I was hoping you would support your case, not trying to argue against it. My desire to learn more was sincere.
If you can't see the difference between these two situations.
BTW - I have no idea what you meant to type in parentheses. Can you please retype that?
Check out my new tagline!
Nice try. The Times merely quoted a Russian newspaper, see link:
"He said I want to be buried according to Muslim tradition," Mr Litvinenko told Moscow's Kommersant daily.
There is no independent verification of this fact by non-Russian news sources.

Wow - has he followed jb6 and romanov?
"He's dead Jim"......
It must have been this post -
Extraditing suspects in ex-spy case to UK impossible - prosecutors
These people are dense. Putin is KGB and he has made it clear that he misses the old Soviet Union. Not to mention he just killed two journalists that disagree with him. Ask British Petroleum and other companies what it is like to do business in crony capitalist Russia. You guys who think Putin is a freedom loving man are smoking something. This guy will not give up power in 2008. Count on it.
Companies that I know of pay more like a 46% percent corporate tax rate - so I don't know where you got that 24%.
Yeltsin was Russia's last hope. Now the KGB runs the country again. Give it up. Putin tricked me, tricked you, tricked everyone. He is a Soviet building alliances in the middle east. The Cold War is back on.
Yeah, and when did I say I thought Putin was a freedom-loving man? I didn't. If you've read any of my other posts about him you'll see I call him a communist.
