Have you heard any reasoning why CA is emptying their reservoirs? They’re in the middle of a drought.

I cannot find a related article anywhere. I searched using that title and can find nothing. I would love you to prove me wrong and provide a link to an actual article.

Oh of course. The climate is racist right? Yes. Makes sense now....the climate has got to be white. Because...you know...it just has to be that way. /s

That’s too bad. It’s cool and rainy here in Colorado. Everywhere.
Been that way for a week and nine more days of it to go.

We’re at 89 at almost 8:00 in the evening here in Western Pa......reminds me of summer nights when I was a kid, (no airconditioning), we’d throw a blanket over the clothesline for a make shift tent and sleep under the stars....by morning everything was dew wet and so were we... and we loved every minute of it!

Now I just enjoy my deck in the evening....big bowl of ice cream and the sweet smell of summer! Hearing other neighbors also enjoying the evening outdoors.....we really have it very good in this country!

Weather is racist and discriminatory and intolerant! They try to give out free copies of the Seattle times at the grocery here and I told them, "no thanks, that paper is for retards". I'm surprised it's still in printed.

Like I said
“They hid this article online after people called the Bush guy who authored this on his G.W. bs”

You can call or chat with Seattle library public information dept and ask them if that is the headline on the paper edition.
They will be happy to verify it for you.

https://www.spl.org/using-the-library/ask-us

I am sure someone posting from seattle can also verify it.

I grew up in the hot humid South back in the day before air conditioning was common. You can't miss what you never had. School had no air conditioning either, just a fan and open windows.

No one died, and most lived into old age. Never heard of someone sitting on the porch or sitting in the house dying of heat. And you could walk around the neighborhood and hear children playing and birds in the trees. No background roar of air conditioning machinery.

Why do you think they invented ice cold sweet tea anyway?

Wow....that’s going to cause problems for some no doubt....best they make a trip to their local mall if they don’t have air.

Gee, I didn’t know the less affluent could afford Whidbey Island, where it’s so hot. My cousin the bank VP lives somewhere on Whidbey, even though her bank is in Seattle. She grew up in Port Orchard, where most of her family remains, so she wanted to stay close.
