Well at last there’s an escape from that heat. It’s midnight here in Western Pa and we’re at 76 ....won’t drop much more before we’re in the upper 80’s again tomorrow. Humidity today was at 52 so that ‘thickens’ the heat.

got up to about 106 where I am, eastern washington.....but Portland got really really hot this weekend....sil says she got readings of over 110 just south of Portland.
That’s OK. They understand climate change in Portland. I wonder how many jumped in cars and headed to the coast.

If you read the article, it does not exactly say that so called climate change attacks minorities and poor more aggressively than others but says that conditions in poor communities are such that the effects of heat are amplified or less bearable than in other locales.
Kinda a big duh. People have long fled the concrete jungle for other locales to escape the heat and I guess the cold too as people travel south in the winter.
Not really news nor racism, in my opinion.
