Well, the whole story is just ducky.
I just go directly to the main lab (which is closer to me than the doctor) and get my blood drawn and then they arrange a zoom call. I only take a water pill and thyroid medication so they aren’t particularly concerned about in person visits unless I have a “new” concern of some sort.
Telemedicine is quite useful for “maintenance” medical needs.
That’s pure genius, buddy.

They are at least happy to report that the case has been quacked, that the fowl crime has ended, and thankfully without any pair o’ ducks.
When one of my wife’s meds runs out, I call the pharmacy after hours, and enter the Rx#. If it’s expired, they call the doc to get it renewed.
Maintenance doses of a BP med; a statin; a couple of heart meds...
She is now down to seeing the doc (PA, really) every 6-12 months for vitals, blood draw, & an EKG.
If they were prescriptions for drugs with street value then it would be even controlled.
My aunt is on long term very mild synthetic opioid called Tramadol. She has to have a blood test on a regular basis to make sure she is not "abusing" it.
How were these guys getting away with not having this happen?
my dtr is on two meds for her dystonia that she can only get a one month supply at a time....often the pharmacist has to get a new script and this after she’s been on these meds for almost a decade,
