I hate scenes with high viscosity.
NOT WORK SAFE (a little)Sean Bean on a game show (8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown) | November 14, 2016 | Shadow Heart
This is part of a trend I think began with the Sons of Anarchy TV series, a show that was about an outlaw motorcycle gang that naturally also was a criminal enterprise.
In the olden days, quality TV dramas thrived on storyline, dialogue and acting. But come Sweeps Week they’d throw in sex and violence (i.e., the murder of JR) to bump up their ratings.
But series like SOA and GOT got by on steady diet of sex and violence, and they’d throw in a smattering of storyline and acting when their ratings are sagging.
It’s cheaper than hiring A-list actors and script-writers.
And what a piece of schlock GOT was. The “planet” featured in GOT was off-earth and imaginary. So if they were on a planet where there is no England (much less a Yorkshire), how come the most of the characters spoke with a Tyke (Yorkshire) accent?
Because that’s all Sean Bean — a borned Yorkshireman — has. And it would have been odd if the king were the only Yorkie. After all, there’s a reason it’s called “the King’s English.”
Like a slippery slope into quicksand, I know
All true behaviors prior to the advent of Christ. We are fast returning to it now.
I lost interest in the original TV series after season 3. Same with the books, the third book was ok, after that it all became a muddle of seemingly hundreds of characters and locations.
I think George RR Martin got bored with GOT too, he seems more interested in creating toy characters (action figures) and attending fantasy conventions. Can’t blame him really, he’s got umpteen millions in the bank and writing is hard work.
I fancy Midsomer Murders. Waiting for someone to be bludgeoned to death by a garden gnome.
"Moichandising!"
Fans of an x-rated porn series were “shocked” to see this kind of content in a related series?
Yogurt, is that you?
I’m just plain yogurt.

If you have a good sub in car stereo this will sound amazing.
Ah, here’s what I was looking for:
Katherine Ryan summarizes GoT (she’s a fan):

Once the cultural degradation started in Ernest I the 1960s this sort of thing was predictable.
SO glad I do not watch television...utter disgusting crap.
Also, yes the final season of GOT sucked. I don't want to get suckered into another crappy series finale.
So is GoT any worse than an average day in an Islamic counyry?
“I think George RR Martin got bored with GOT too,”
That’s my thought. He’s old, he’s got lots of money. He has no kids to inherit from him. If I were him, I would spend my remaining years doing what I felt like.
Family entertainment at its finest.
haha!
we know people who watched the original GoT with their kids- 10, 12 year olds.
I never watched it ( cause of what i read about it)but was surprised they felt it was appropriate to watch with the youngun’s
