If you’re going to post frequently on FR, you should know who wants to receive your posts and who doesn’t.
Make a list if you have to. It’s not rocket science.

You make me feel anxious. All my assets are in the US, placed my bets long ago and I thought things had gone well... but not anymore. The people in charge aren’t trustworthy, from the President down to the average voter. You, for instance.
Besides my personal situation - The main threat to the world at this time is the internal state of the US. It looks terrible at the top and going by FR, its no better at the bottom. You are going to destroy each other and yourselves, out of greed, madness, demonic possession, and arrogant, willful cluelessness. You guys are entirely capable of destroying the world out of crankiness and pique.

You should have paid closer attention.

I HAD a very high regard for Americans. The generation I worked with was superlative. There was a reason US productivity was so high. Those guys were absolute animals at professional learning and becoming self educated. They were creative, brilliant, self-sacrificing, responsible to a fault - nothing more can be said. The guy who introduced me to all the ins and outs of Homeric translations was a manufacturing engineer.
That famous scene in Apollo 13? I’ve been there, done that (on different sorts of problems), with people who were drawn with great accuracy by the filmmakers. For an engineer that was heaven.
How far we have all fallen. Those men are gone, now. What we have left here - is you. You don’t measure up, at all. You are sub-standard, poorly made, unformed, and poor material should you even think of becoming something better.
The contrast between the superlative and the dross has made me bitter.

I do blame you. It is your personal, social and political failure that put you where you are. And me. And all of us.
The guy who got me into close reading of St. Thomas’ “Summa” was a robotics programmer. The guy who introduced me to medieval plainsong was an astrophysicist working on curve fitting algorithms for aerospace parts manufacture.
Are you the same sort of being as them? Are you the same sort of human, biologically compatible? You who so proudly reject learning anything? It is hard to imagine. It is distressing to realize to what state “Americans” have devolved.
The message is for everyone.
