I don't know; the cowboy has always been (deservedly) a heroic figure and (until recently) a strong symbol of our national self-identity. The suits in the EU and those who make their livings scribbling would have problems with both, I imagine.
Notice Moore printed that anti-American rant in the UK.
He has little credibility on our shores, but he is bullying his way to influence internationally, where people don't have access to the other side of the story. His Fahrenheit 9/11 is distributed worldwide, with translations in every major language, while the rebuttals are mainly available in the U.S., in English.
Moore is going to continue his traitorous propagandizing outside our borders. In that way, I'm afraid he is accomplishing his agenda.

True, but I doesn't mean the former should'nt be also true. I believe in freedom. Freedom of religion. Not freedom from religion. But I don't think we should legislate based on religion because religion is not based in anything real. Legislating based on beliefs is something Liberals do. I don't think we should follow the same pattern.

Even if everything this author had to say were true (it's not), it would still be the case that those of us who live in the USA have teeth in better condition than the average Brit.
