Ah yes, "the complexity of the world", this has become the mantra of the of the navel-gazing nihilists who simply refuse to accept moral distinctions and the mere mention of Absolute Truth drives the same to fits of snarling, foaming hatred of all who refuse to accept their Eurocentric view.
To watch the response of these Dim-wits becomes more entertaining by the day. I really believe some sort of a mass suicide watch needs to be instituted in the San Fran, and Northeast US as well as large swaths of Europe.
Oh yeah, and "lawless cowboy", The cowboy thing is getting a little old although I would argue that such a name should rightly be worn as a badge of honor. We tend to be just a tad more individualistic than our more enlightened brethern.
Giddyup
Hey, UK douche-bag - what was Al-Qaeda's motivation before 9/11, before the USS cole, before the first WTC bombing? YOU are the dumba$$ who doesn't get it, and if 3,000 of your people would have died in an attack on your soil, you probably would have just rolled over and cried, wussy!
(Where's the author????)
Note to UK: If you want to repair relations between us, curtail this CR@P!!!
I keep hearing on talk radio here in chicago, that the problem is, is that somehow, the Republican Party "hijacked" morals.
I swear, I have heard more than once, that forcing people to take responsibiity for their children is "immoral", that school vouchers is immoral (because all the good teachers will lose their jobs), not pursuing the destruction of infants to increase your lifespan is "immoral", not wanting to soak the rich, so the poor blacks can get a piece of the pie is "immoral".
These people just don't get it.
Or maybe I don't. I dunno.
Also, they are saying that W ran a smear campaign, based on lies and fear. I dunno, passing around flyers with blacks being firehosed, telling people the repubs are introducing the draft (when it was the dems) telling people that W is going to take away all your sociol security, Michael Moore, etc, seems like a smear campaign to me.
Not to mention to name calling. If you don't believe in abortion, then you are a sexist who wants to rape women (cameron diaz), if you think that Jesse Jackson is a shakedown artist, then you are racist. If you think that our courts are there to interpret the law, NOT MAKE IT, then you are a homophobe gay basher.
If you are religious, then you are the enemy. A dumb hick, bumpkin, idiot, with no schooling. Faith is for the foolish they tell us.
Yet somehow, WE hijacked morals.
I honestly thought it was from Michael Moore.
Wouldn't be surprised if he ghost-wrote it.
Yawn. Go away - you're boring.
As to the article, I wouldn't pay much attention to it, the British press is very outspoken and politicized (Compare The Daily Mirror to The Sun.) The left wing papers where outraged by Bush's victory while the right leaning ones welcomed the election results.
The significant thing is the attitude of the left, it is practically identical in the UK and in the US: extreme anger, insults, radicalism. I think, in a way, it shows the ideological bankruptcy of the left.
