This is the "cleanest" shot from the video.

Hey DC man! I haven't seen the video but still it sounds like it was just a camcorder era thing. There is a lot not to like about Tonya Harding but I would not add the video. It seems a good percentage of fellas forget the ole virtue of "Don't kiss and tell" Nowadays they kiss and tell and here is the video to prove it.

"Why do so many Freepers call Paris names"
Some people get a kick out of maligning famous people. Makes them feel better about their own miserable lives I guess.
Personally, if I was a student at that Junior high, I would be disappointed not to see her. Not being in junior high however, the only thing that impresses me about Paris is her money. I don't think she is, or wants to be, popular with the older crowd. i.e. anyone over 20.

I have never understood the popularity of Paris Hilton. She is slightly attractive in the face, but otherwise not at all attractive.
I saw a picture of her on the cover of one of those trash magazines you see while waiting at the checkout. She has no derriere at all. They actually were making fun of her.

"This is the stupidest board of education ever assembled. So who would be next to substitute, Anna Nicole???"
They are both on TV where they may be viewed by many many thousands more junior high students than one class at one junior high. I fail to see what the big deal is.

LOL--if you watch any episode of The Simple Life--any episode at all--you'll notice that her pants are constantly sliding down revealing about an inch-and-a-half of butt crack. I don't know about teaching, but judging by this, Paris would have a great future as a plumber.

When I think back to some of the out and out communist propaganda, anti-Americanism, and relativism I was exposed to growing up in the South.........Makes me think again of Johnny Carson's joke about cleaning up the Hudson River..."you could clean up the Hudson by pumping in raw sewage"
Paris is high profile. I guess all the Troskyist just get a pass or operate under the radar.

I don't care if your children watch Paris Hilton on television.
However, when taxes are paid for qualified, certified teachers, then they are the ones that should be teaching. Our educational system is bad enough as it is, without this type of disruption in the classroom.

Teacher certification is a negative and I'm saying this having gained a Master's Degree certification. Certification means that we've been brainwashed into using quack teaching methods from dreary college of education courses that have nothing to do with competence in the area we are teaching.
As for substitute teachers.....no certification is required and when there is a shortage....no degree of any sort is required.

"The school board was amenable to the idea "
The school board now needs to resign in mass --- the smart parents with common sense would be more than "amenable" to that idea.

lol.... you actually think she was going to teach? It's a half hour TV show. They would have been in and out of there in no time. It would have been more like a field trip to the local TV station except not quite as boring.

Typical school board education money whores. Offer them free money and they act like all the blood drained out of their brain.

No, I don't think she was intending to teach. That is my point.
When our kids are behind third world nations in core subjects, why allow this type of disruption?

No, they would've been there for several hours, then the footage would've been edited down to the show only the most interesting (or disturbing) bits.

But Hollywood will still employ people like her in kids movies (like Cat In The Hat), along with other important role models: Rosie O'Donnell (many kids movies) and Ellen Degeneres (Finding Nemo).
