IMO not too many are reveling in her death. Many are at least mildly bemused by the mode of her death because it was such an incredibly stupid thing to do. It was something I wouldn't have done when I was falling-down drunk, never mind sober when I was her age. There are a couple of Darwin Award websites and several Darwin Award books devoted to people like her.
