A really bad thing would be for this particular judge make it to the Supreme Court under a dim President. That would be a bad thing.

I'm surprised that he's from Louisiana. Well, if he was a transplant from say the Elitist Northeast, I could believe this ruling. Even a Minnesotan would consider this ruling lunacy - unless he's a Birkestock clad resident of Monnbatapolis.

First cup of coffee has not kicked in yet.
where do these assholoes come from.
What a bunch of whining hypocrites. This is a conservative ruling. It protect the rights of property owns. Just because a property has a resource (water) that the public would like to use should it, by default, create a public easement for use of that resource? Should a public easement for hunting be implies on all property regardless of who owns it?
Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. A conservative ruling would be one that is based upon written law. This ruling is based purely on fiat. It ignores written law.
The people of the State of Louisiana have already decided amongst themselves what the law should be regarding hunting, fishing, and recreation rights on waterways. This judge has completely usurped the rights of the citizens of Lousiana. He has disregarded Amendment X of the Constitution of the United States of America. That is not what I would consider to be a conservative ruling.
Appeals court in New Orleans to hear this case this Thursday, 9/6 at 9:30 am.
