Ridiculous, I've said clearly and repeatedly I don't support Microsoft giving software or source code to China, unlike you I've never supported anyone giving China anything. You're the one who's never spoke out against China renaming Red Hat to Red Flag for free though. Must be part of your "rising red tide" theory or something.
True. You were only OK with it if they got paid.
unlike you I've never supported anyone giving China anything.
True. I have consistently supported a level playing field, even when that means all players have free access to something.
I support a level playing field because I know that on a level field America always wins. I also know that tough, determined competition inspires American companies to produce better and cheaper products, and that benefits everyone. A comfortable people seldom, if ever, starts a war.
You're the one who's never spoke out against China renaming Red Hat to Red Flag for free though.
Nope. I have been avoiding your attempts to use the Red Flag red herring. But for the record, I loathe any time chinese companies sell other people's intellectual property, without the appropriate contracts and royalty payments. Even when that company is Microsoft.
Were I ruler of the world, China would quickly become motivated to enforce international copyright laws, and would be eager to make back payments for reasonable royalty and licensing fees.
But I'm not, so 'our betters' let them keep their Permanent Most Favored Nation Trading Status.
BBL, errands to run, as always, it's been an interesting conversation
Another chinese company who came to my site via this discussion thread for those on the Freeper China list keeping track.

Well as long as Bill Gates is cool with it...
