Sam Waterston learned nothing from The Killing Fields.
SVU and Criminal Intent are excellent, IMO. They pretty much stay away from the liberal political claptrap.
Waterson is actually more of a libertarian than a flat-out liberal. He’s okay.
This just goes to show how brain dead and unimaginative these guys are. No ideas, just re-run the old ones, remake other people’s films, same old same old. They are, quite frankly BORING!
It turns out that's a very good show. No liberals there. The producer, Donald Bellisario, is a proud Marine and plays it straight, always reflecting well on the military services. And by the way, Bellisario served in the Marines with none other than Lee Harvey Oswald.
You’re right Lancy, Waterson was actually trying to start a new Party that sounded pretty Libertarian, albeit with the emphasis on lib.
The show itself is becoming more leftest every season to the point where I don’t much watch it anymore.
The same with SVU, especially with that smug Belzer basically playing himself.
The absolute worst is Cold Case.
One thing all these shows have in common is, the white guy did it.
