Welcome back. It was a great pleasure. It’s one of the things I LOVE about Free Republic. People like you and your family. Bless you all. I am so glad your son is home.
May they all come home safe and sound.
That’s great! I’m so glad he’s back.
(Mine should be home for Christmas. Big, whew!)
Thanks for the update.

Tell him thanks and welcome home!
God bless
Welcome Home!
no problems Harry.
just good that your lad is back safe and sound and hopefully everyone else comes back from there safe and without injury.
I’m sure you’ll have a great time with him.
My two sons are still young but I’m sure they will be following family tradition and joining I just cannot think what you went though while he was over there.
anyway to your family .
welcome home and merry Christmas
Thanks manc, it wasn’t easy, A lot of faith and prayers helped, that’s the only way to have any peace when your loved one are overseas.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I am glad you have him home for the holidays. Many here have had family members serve in Iraq and or Afghanistan, some currently serving. We all share that special heart felt support for every one of them and their families.
Yeah!!!!! So glad your son is home safe Harry! Great news. Please thank him for his service and tell him we are celebrating his safe return home. :-)
(Bet he’ll eat a lot at Christmas! Better add to that grocery budget now! He he...Home for Christmas, Woo Hoo!!!)
SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT!! Thank him for his service from me and my family....
He already said he missed out on the memorial day family reunion/fish fry/crawfish boil and the fourth of July BBQ.
Live crawfish are out of season so we’ll have to get frozen tails (they’re like little fresh water lobsters) and his mom said she’ll make him a crawfish pie. He wants some of dads BBQ beef brisket and cajun smoked turkey as well. He will get to eat good over the Christmas holiday. ;0)
Welcome your son for us!
