Should we make his postumous?
You know these guys are still smarting over the whole Barbary Pirate and Tripoli incident from 1803.
Thank you. I was going to ask, what is the difference between “contentious objector” and “conscientious objector”.
Recruitment quotas have to be met.
Careful! there are a couple on FR who think is is all rosy to have this diversity with Islam backstabbing in the military, Most likely they voted for Hussein as well.
He filled out the forms like all others asking him repeatedly if he had any hang ups. He swore that he didn't, he signed a contract that he would accept certain pay and benefits in exchange for certain services he renders. The enlistment process is actually not that quick and he had a longer time to think about it. This war has been going on since 2001 and frankly the US DoD is continually engaged somewhere in the world, how can this have been a surprise that he deploys? When they paid him, gave him those benefits and a place to live, did he object to those and return everything they gave him, i.e. his paycheck?
I have little sympathy for those like this guy. They are $hit heads and frankly the DoD and society lets these guys off the hook without any real punishment.

United States Marine Corps -- America's 911
When it absolutely, positively....
....Has to be DESTROYED over night
Thank you Lt. O'Bannon & Marines under your command.
As you proserved liberty, and restored order...
You made history for our country and Corps.
But nonetheless, this individual should be in serious trouble and will probably get off with no real punishment. Furthermore, we should keep a watchful eye on them since it only makes common sense because many do have misplaced loyalties. It's fairly easy to become a US citizen, it's fairly easy to become a US soldier in regards to citizenship, residency requirements and there is little that really vets whether one is loyal to the US and Constitution. Basically it's easy to get people in the US military that really don't support the cause, aren't loyal to the nation or Constitution because they might have loyalties to others, i.e. Israel, Islam, Communism in the Cold War, China, a radical militia group............... We have very high standards when compared to most when you look at education and medical requirements etc., but compared to most we allow a lot of folks in that don't really have their heart where it belongs because our standards for citizenship and residency are so lax.
US involvement in the shooting war in Bosnia began in February 1994.
President Clinton probably first met Monica Lewinsky in November 1995, but certainly did not meet her before July 1995.
Their affair was not made public until January 1998. President Clinton did not discuss the meaning of "is" until later that year.
President Clinton was impeached in December 1998 and the matter, from a legal point of view, ended there.
The Kosovo War intervention began 3 months later in March 1999 and ended in June 1999.
The wisdom of our intervention is certainly a matter of debate, but saying that we intervened in Bosnia and Kosovo to distract from President Clinton's legal problems is just bad history.
At the height of the Lewinsky scandal - the summer of 1998 - President Clinton ordered missile strikes in Afghanistan and the Sudan.
You don't even need to be a US citizen to enlist.
You can get your citizenship fairly quickly, cheaply and like an anchor baby through an illegal act.
They ask you to take an oath, but there is NOTHING which really tests your dedication and convictions in the regular Army. That's why those evil old days of hazing were so great, why in all Spec Ops units they still do it, even though they disguise the hazing, calling it “training.” You weed those out who are loyal to outside forces or are only looking to get some government cheese. Treat all the same and fairly and there will be many loyal and dedicated Muslims in uniform, but also don't deny that there are many who have loyalties elsewhere and that our DoD sugar coats the issues because they are PC.
I'm part German, and if it were WWII I'd “expect” others to look at me more closely because this has been happening since the dawn of time: http://www.historynet.com/world-war-ii-german-saboteurs-invade-america-in-1942.htm Do you think this is new? Maybe you should read about the story of Herman the German: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arminius
We are suspending common sense because of emotional pleas and a perverted idea of equality (not the original context and meaning (as in "all men are created equal") that in reality came about in the 60s.
How many of these examples of Muslims in the military does it take to stop accepting Muslims in the military? Yes, I know that not all Muslims in the military are terrorists, murders, or spies, but there is no way of vetting them. Would any of you want to share a foxhole with a Muslim in battle? You cannot be certain which way he will point the weapon.
” God did not give legitimacy “
How does the little pig plucker know that?? He’s a mooselimb and prays to a moon rock.
Good one!! You got me! Yeah!
