The re nomination of Walberg is a good lesson for the GOP. As far as I know, he’s the only former congressman to be nominated in the anti incumbant environment and he did it by a very wide margin. Something like 45,000 votes to 25,000 votes for his nearest challenger.

This thread is such pure anti-conservative propaganda. There are no conservative positions (fiscal or social) that seek to have a big government role in controlling people’s lives. The accusations made by this poster are bogus. It is in effect the complete opposite. It is those that oppose conservative positions on so-called social issues like abortion and gay rights that are the ones who want a big-government role in dictating morality to the people. The conservative position has always been to leave it up to the People and the States and it those that oppose this position are who want the Courts to dictate a perverse morality of disrespect for Life and to punish those who do not accept sexual perversions as being protected over all other moral positions.
This poster is just another of the phony conservatives who want to dictate that the TEA party must accept social Marxism as long as it is blended with fiscal conservatism. This is no different than the position that has poisoned the Republican party for years upon years and brought us so many RINOS who sell us out at every turn. The entire myth of social / fiscal conservatism is simply a means of division among the TEA party. Issues such as abortion and gay rights are fiscal issues and issues of Constitutionally limited government. The TEA party has stood for ‘Constitutional limited government’ since it was first founded and have always opposed the abuse of power by progressives in using the Courts to dictate morality to the people.
