He’s obviously a liberal, which makes one wonder why he bothered to go to a conservative event except to disrupt. I don’t think he intended to threaten anyone, but his non-physical disability must’ve kicked in.

This guy sounds like he was a time bomb waiting to go off. I have to wonder if Clarence the Clown’s vitriol and heated rhetoric moved the hands on this guy’s clock to 12.
Ahhhh, ok I wasn’t sure. Some of the things I’m reading about him just make him sound unhinged. And then I remembered they had been looking for an accomplice.
Nothing they do would surprise me at this point.
I found a way out of ICMB duties (got RVN instead - as intended) by refusing to waive a physical test the AF was unable to carry out (60 ft vertical ladder - they'd all been condemned). BUT since there were nukes involved the "only form available" was the same one used to relieve loons from silo duty ("human reliability").
Took me a couple of years and a branch transfer to convince (?) people I wasn't nuts.
Just an observation, but I'd imagine that someone recently shot in the knee would have a hard time attending any form of news conference unless he was wheeled in by medics.
Bet if he did, he'd end up like DKos shreiking moonbat "BoyBlue" did: Totally paralyzed on one side and only able to see out of one eye.
Any evidence he actually served in the military? We have these nuts hanging out at the library faking reading books while they soil their pants...
That’s possible, going to that event was not a good idea, not for him anyway. Perhaps he joined that hypnosis site to get some kind of mental relief? At any rate, thank God he’s off the street and didn’t kill someone.
YUCK....I don’t know, there are websites that you can go to, to look up old buddies from your military days. My hubby has looked up a couple of them before. Not sure what websites though. And he’s watching a Packer game. I’ve already gotten yelled at once for interrupting his concentration during the game. He missed seeing a touch down. I’m not even going back in there...lol
I’d sure like to know what he did in the Service, and what his disability is.
He’s referred to as a “naval air veteran” in several news stories, but that could mean anything from a steely eyed naval aviator to brig time at a NAS.
Unless his knee were just grazed. Wonder if he really went to the hospital? He also said he had shrapnel in his back...hmmm
I think I read somewhere that he was some kind of computer programmer. He said he continued doing that for a while after he was released from the service.

Maybe they should put him in the same cell with Loughner. They can talk over their differences.
The irony could not be more pointed, or painful. One of the issues discussed in the town hall meeting was the question of why no police or mental health professionals had ever intervened with Jared Lee Loughner, despite his increasingly bizarre behavior that had included disruptive outbursts.
Bizarre, glad the guy is off the streets, at least for now.
