Okubo, who said that she gets weekly questions from Obama ‘Birthers’ that are “more like threats,” explained that the certificate of live birth reproduced by Obama’s campaign should have debunked the conspiracy theories. “If you were born in Bali, for example,” Okubo explained, “you could get a certificate from the state of Hawaii saying you were born in Bali. You could not get a certificate saying you were born in Honolulu. The state has to verify a fact like that for it to appear on the certificate. But it’s become very clear that it doesn’t matter what I say. The people who are questioning this bring up all these implausible scenarios. What if the physician lied? What if the state lied? It’s just become an urban legend at this point.”

So, having sorted through the article, I wonder if I’m understanding this. Is the author is simply inferring the existence of a “separated list” from the governor’s odd choice of words?
I’m not saying it isn’t so, and I’m not saying his central thesis of widespread immigration fraud in HI is wrong, but a very juicy, plausible inference does not a smoking gun make. Is the “written down” thing an entry on this theorized list, or is it an Act 96 Affidavit, either of which might be hand-written (as “written down” tends to suggest)?
Your analysis is better than the inferences in the article ...

Did you see the comments of the Hawaiian resident who HEARD the foreign mothers saying
“Sure, go on down to the DOH, they’ll give you a Birth Certificate just on your say-so, it is so easy.”

yes, as a non-lawyer i can answer that in laymen’s terms-this is the flip side
you see, if he were born out of the States to an american mother pretty much anywhere , then he’s American even with the British subject father Obama buuuuuttt because Stanley Ann Dunham failed to meet the residency requirements for Hawaii at the time of Obama’s birth and having a Brit subject for a father then clearly he is disqualified.
imho and elementary analysis of this new piece of information it’s just another lie, that’s all no matter which way the dreidel drops, it’s all lies and until the correct information is brought to light we won’t be seeing the truth very soon.

Its not Rocket science. Either he was born on US soil or he was not.It doesn’t much matter who his mom and pop were, even though that can be argued.
Article II of the constitution needs to be satisfied, not the law of citizenship.Natural born means born on US soil.
Its pretty straight forward Ms Goodness.
Everything so far points to Obama being born outside the United States.And a simple document will prove that or not. Why not simply release it? Because it will show that he is not qualified to be president.
All original Hawaii documentation by now has been destroyed.
