“Start a poll here and see where she ranks.”
There was a Freepers poll done about a month ago and guess where Gov. Palin ranked.
FRIST.
The Free Republic straw vote is nothing more than a way to gauge our preference today for President in 2012. The numbers are in and for a second year in a row , Sarah Palin has won the Free Republic straw vote.
Palin 81.6%

Bachman 2.1%

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Then you better start figuring what you’re going to do with 4 more years of Obama.
“Palin 81.6%”
Thanks, that is the poll I was talking about. I was off a wee bit... ;>)
And I remember it. I lived through it. GHW Bush wimped out. It was a Classic Fold.
Read His Lips: He Lied
Thanks for posting that poll, Clyde.
Gee, G Larry, you’re changing the subject. The original subject was “Is FR united around a single candidate”. I said yes, the poll backs me up, and now you’re saying, ok, then get ready for a 2nd obambam term.
You are free to question Palin’s electability, but that’s changing the subject from the discussion you and I were having.
The question was, is FR united around a single candidate.
You said no.
I said yes.
The poll says yes.
You non sequitur’d.
Just admit it. FR is fairly well united around a single candidate.
Obama is the official union buster for America. LOL
All patriots must get a CIRD and carry out General Order 24.
Ah....I changed the subject......
I continue to contend there is a large majority here that are waiting for someone credible to support, and don’t participate in these polls.
Ok. I admit that could be true. Still, it doesn’t change the fact that this forum is, on its face, very pro-Palin. So pro-Palin that it’s fair to say it’s “united” behind Palin. If there are lurkers who disagree and never say a word, then how can they possibly count on that question?
Yup, you’re right.
Here’s my basis for my contention;
Like Palin, don’t think she’s electable.
Like Romney, but too many are afraid of “A Mormon in the White House”.
Like Newt, but too many criticize his personal life.
Don’t like Ron Paul
Don’t like Huck
Pawlenty has insufficient national profile
and the same is true of others not listed here.
sooooo, conservatives got a problem!
Now I’m going to change the subject.
How can you like Newt?
Did you see the video of him on the couch with Nancy declaring his allegiance to stopping AGW?
Did you see him recently pandering in Iowa on the biofuels question?
I detest Newt. He makes my skin crawl.
And it’s got nothing to do with his personal life. I don’t give a rat’s patoot about his personal life.
Yup, disagreed with that “pragmatic” nonsense.
(This could be designed to gather Independents?)
He needs my 5 minute science course.....
BUT!
He is the most capable of speaking off the cuff on the widest range of global and national issues.
He’s smart and knows history, economics, and the Constitution.
His foreign policy would be the mirror image of Obama’s.
He’s not running for Pope.
He would cream Obama in any debate.
Where’s your 5 minute science course? Is it posted somewhere? I suspect it’s a pretty good rebuttal to the AGW crap.
Yes it rebuts AGW and cites ethanol’s cost and energy inversion.
Not posted anywhere yet, but I shall.
CO2 is a lagging indicator and certainly is not a pollutant!
