You simply have no clue what it was like at that rally. It was like standing next to a jet on the tarmac. Even with the sound system she had to scream to be heard. What a speech.

Don’t worry, be happy.

Your numbers are a snapshot of today, not the election when 70%+ of the vote will go to Sarah Palin. :-)

Yep. You should have seen Reagan’s unfavorables before the election. And we have “Welcome Back Carter” in the White House.

I have no idea what it means. I just went to your link, and the first page of Gallup doesn’t really mention Palin, only Huck and Bachmann. You’ll have to ask Gallup.

Who do you want to be the nominee?

If Palin is the nominee, you will vote for her, right?

I knew that bait would reel you in. LOL

Keep telling yourself that there’s no way that Sarah can win. Reinforce the delusion. It’ll help you to sleep until she begins stepping like a giant over the pipsqueak competition.

You bet, Norm. Door knocking won’t be the only job that needs doing. Sarah’s going to need our help in a multitude of ways.

There’ll be something useful to do for everyone who wants to help this great woman get to the White House.

I didn’t link to the first page. My link was for the second page and the raw numbers. Which is what my post was about.

“positive intensity” is that like manmade overseas operations?

what emotion? I linked to the second page. Took the raw numbers and made a post about it. It I wanted to link to the crap gallup put out I would have linked their article and not made my own blogpost about their raw numbers. The only thing I care about is the raw numbers to the answer to their question.

the question they asked and the results to that question is on the second page.

I'm not a fan of polls, especially this early in the campaign cycle.

That said, for those people who like to criticize Palin using polls, a 7 in 10 favorability rating by Republicans and Independents leaning Republican is a positive thing for Palin.

Thanks for posting this.

why do you continue to use old outdated polls?

Not to mention one which has been debunked?

Oh, that's right. It's because he's a PDS troll.

Cheers!

And my post was about the fact that it is misleading, because that is not the true headline of the poll. Palin’s numbers are good enough in this poll without trying to jimmy the results.

Who is jimmy the results? I didn't link gallup’s made up number of 'intensity score!"

My post is on the raw numbers that Gallup found. the raw numbers can't be jimmied.

The headline is true. the numbers are there.

If you would rather have gallup explain to you what the raw numbers mean go for it. But I would rather have the hard cold numbers and then make my own decision on those numbers.

the number is that Palin leads the GOP in favs by 69%.

That is the numbers they got from their poll. the results of their poll question is on page 2. Page 1 is gallup's SPIN. Now you can take those numbers and run it through a blender and invent some stupid “intensity score” BS spin like gallup did or you can simply report the numbers like I did.

Polybius posted the MOST RECENT, comprehensive FOX NEWS Poll:

FOX News Poll (February 7-9, 2011)

Question 3: I am going to read you a list of names. Tell me if you think that person would make a good President or not.

Sarah Palin:

.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of

ALL...........23%.......72%.........4%.......1%

Dem ...........7%........87%........5%.......1%

Rep ...........40%.......56%.......3%.......1%

Ind ...........25%........69%.......3%.......1%

**************

unseen1 replied:

again with the outdated polls? You need a new poll. try the ABC/Wapo I heard they have very skewed internals +10 dems should be right up your alley. ..... unseen1

Well, unseen1, I looked and I looked and I looked and, as I wrote to you last night, it seems that the MOST RECENT comprehensive FOX NEWS poll is the February poll that shows that 72% of ALL voters do NOT believe that Sarah Palin would be a good President.

I post the latest FOX News poll because we all know that, if any other poll is posted, Palin’s supporters go into automatic denial mode and claim that the poll is biased.

Just look at your reply: The most recent comprehensive FOX News poll available, that I cite, is from February so it is not valid. Therefore, I should look for a Washington Post poll, which you say is biased, and therefore also not valid.

Can your desperate avoidance of reality be more glaringly displayed?

You can keep running away from the cold, hard facts about how Sarah Palin stacks up among ALL voters in order to perpetuate your state of denial but that does not change reality.

You insist on maintaining your desperate state of denial until the general election of November of 2012 even if it guarantees the reelection of Barack Hussein Obama.

I, on the other hand, have absolutely no intention of guaranteeing Barack Hussein Obama reelection which is why I keep trying to get the Sarah Palin Cult of Personality back to the realities of the Planet Earth.

So, if you see the next comprehensive FOX News poll come out before I do, be sure to FReepMail me and I will update the numbers that show how Sarah Palin stands among ALL voters. …. Not just among Republicans or just among the Tea Party …… Among ALL voters. That is who determines who wins a general election: ALL voters.

In my Googling to see if a more recent FOX News Poll had been released since February, I did find an interesting item on the FOX News Radio web page:

FOX NEWS RADIO web page: .... CHARLIE SHEEN OUTPOLLS SARAH PALIN FOR PRESIDENT AMONG INDEPENDENTS …… We’ve found a lot of brutal poll numbers for Sarah Palin so far in 2011: …… But this has to be the worst- independent voters say they would support Charlie Sheen over Palin for President by a 41/36 margin. Seriously

Anyone that bases their outlook for 2 years into the future on a 2 month old poll is the one in denial

Gallup just showed your outdated polls as being well out of date. Palin has increased her support within the GOP by 13% since the foxnews poll. which means your poll is worthless.

If you must use polls (which I think is funny as hell in the first place) at least try to stay current. next you will be citing polls from 2008 on why 2010 could never have had happened.

It's almost a year until the first primaries and the campaign hasn't even begun, so you think this poll holds water in any way?

I remember polls saying that John McCain was the only GOP candidate who could win, how'd that work out?

There are polls six months before the 1980 election that showed Carter beating Reagan by over 30 points. Ask Jimmy how that worked out.

Didn't the polls show that Giuliani was going to win the GOP nomination about this far out? Ask Rudy how that worked out.

Meh. We'll see what happens once everyone declares and the candidates campaign, debate, and put on ads. Until then....meh. Stupid and irrelevant.
