Homeland Security’s Muslim Advisor Mohamed Elibiary Spoke at Conference Honoring Ayatollah Khomeini

When Mohamed Elibiary was appointed earlier this year to the Department of Homeland Security’s newly-formed Countering Violent Extremism Working Group, it was done quietly and without fanfare. It’s hard to believe that this silence was accidental, considering Elibiary’s appearance at a conference honoring Ayatollah Khomeini, his attacks on prosecution of terrorist fundraisers, his active promotion of jihadist ideology godfather Sayyid Qutb, and the threat he made against a Dallas Morning News journalist who repeatedly exposed his extremist views.

Thanks Cincinatus' Wife.
Patrick Poole: "...Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council member Mohamed Elibiary may have been given access to a sensitive database of state and local intelligence reports, and then allegedly shopped some of those materials to a media outlet. He allegedly used the documents to claim the department was promoting 'Islamophobia' -- claims that the media outlet ultimately rejected. They declined to do the story.
IOW, there should be NO Muzzies employed at or by the DHS.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? The topic of the thread is not about LaRaza but the abuse of power in the DHS /0bama admin using vital Intel on American citizens for political gain.

This story is not really about Perry, but the abuse of power by the traitor in the WH.

Wake the eff up.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the Dallas Homeland Security Director being fired today apparently because she's acting as a whistle-blower.

Don't know a lot about her but apparently she's a former member of the CIA and is a conservative.

Not about Perry? Perry's name is in the title of the thread professor and he is also guilty of abusing his power.

I consider any politician who panders to and attends pro-illegal alien, racist organizations like La Raza, are abusing their power by lending credibility and legitimacy to these racist, pro-illegal organizations.

Wake the hell up.

Popped in to comment.

Seems they were trying to get dirt on Perry to claim he was an Islamophobe. When they couldn’t find anything one way or another they dug up a picture of him signing an agreement with a Muslim. NOW he’s a Islamosymp.

This actually may be the work of the ROVE/ Bush cabal.
You notice Jeb attacked Perry today.I wouldn’t put anything past this bunch.

“Perry emerged as a political force in the Lone Star state in his own right that night—and a feud was born.

“That was the beginning of the ill will,” said Bill Miller, a longtime lobbyist in Austin. “Perry thought he was being played second-fiddle to Bush by Karl.”

The relationship between the two men only deteriorated afterward. Perry’s power rose steadily in Texas. He transformed a relatively weak governorship into a potent force after 10 years. In 2007, as Bush’s poll numbers dove, Perry said the president had never been a true fiscal conservative, irking Rove and others in Bush’s circle.

The animosity culminated in 2010, when Rove, along with a number of other members of the former president’s inner circle, backed Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison’s unsuccessful challenge to Perry in the GOP gubernatorial primary. By that point, Perry probably didn’t need another reason to dislike Rove. Many describe the governor as inclined to hold a grudge, even one that extends decades.

For Rove, watching Perry enter the national stage so successfully may be hard for a man who once ruled Texas Republican politics with an iron fist.

“Karl has sat on top of Texas politicians forever, pretty much since he got here,” Miller said. “Right now, it’s the first time ever, you have one who kind of eclipsed his reach. It’s different for him.”

I have no doubt Rove would do anything to keep Romney at the top. Bush and Romney were in the same class at Harvard Business.

This was sent to me in as an alert. Pajamas Media sends out articles once a day...this came in by itself with just this article, very unusual.

For some reason obama is very afraid of Perry.

Look at Texas then look at the rest of the country. That surely didn’t happen by accident.

So just because you see Perry’s name in the title that means you get to spam it without thinking about adding any real discussion to the topic of the thread?

I’m sorry but you are totally irrational if you think that the abuse of power by the POTUS in this issue isn’t more important. Do you really want to allow the DHS to have that kind of political power that affects the outcome of a presidential election?

I never suggested or implied that.

Fact is the thread is about Perry and abuse of power. It's my position Perry also abused his power.

If you don't like that, too bad.

We all get it, but it would be useless to explain to people who think posting a picture is a substitute for having a real discussion.

It means Perry is the Governor of a state which used to be part of Mexico, and which has a large AMERICAN hispanic presence. And we don’t live in a black and white world where every person is a 2-dimensional caractature, all the good guys where white hats and all the bad guys have curly mustaches.

It’s a dream world some live in, that makes their lives easier because they don’t have to think.
