Why doesn’t he believe in term limits ?

Only one elected position in the US Government has a Constitutional term limit.

The Constitution can be amended, as you’re well aware.

There is no reason on Earth NOT to have term limits. People like John Dingell, John Conyers, Chuck Schumer, Bawney Fwank, and John McLame should not be spending decades in CONgress.

Government is not supposed to be a career.

It is paleoPaulie's limp-wristed, spineless foreign policy that causes many sensible folks to think of him as a drag queen (together with his enthusiasm for "gays" in the military). His habit of changing political parties between his honest identity as a Libertoonian and his stealth act pretending to be GOP that makes many sensible folks think of him as a cross-dresser. His phoniness on social issues and his hiding behind the 10th Amendment to prolong the SCOTUS's Roe vs. Wade abortion holocaust of 50+ million babies over 38 years while paleoPaulie poses for holy pictures as though he would actually DO anything to save the babies. His message to his druggie, anti-American, pacifist, college zombies as to abortion and homosexual perversion posing as "marriage" is (wink, wink! y'all know I won't interfere with your, ummmm, lifestyle). His phoniness on fiscal issues is shown by: his talking the talk while stuffing appropriations bills with Galveston targeted pork and then voting NO secure in the knowledge that his colleagues will send the pork his way in any event.

Great candidate you got there. He is no conservative but he did stay at Holiday Inn last night.

Spoken like a true elitist wonk. We cannot very well have democracy or Nancyboy Kirk is a sure goner in 2016. Oh no, they have taken the choice of US Senators away from all those upstanding (and quite purchasable) state legislators. Whatever will Muffy, Skipper, Planned Abortionhood and the airheads down at the Junior League EVER do? If everyone can vote just because they are voters, how can taxes be eliminated on the upper crust and the burden shifted to the plebes? If the working stiffs can't be made to pay Chatsworth Worthington 32nd's taxes, who else is there? This election stuff has to be curtailed as a threat to the trust funds or at least to the Republic, right?

Here in Illinois, as you well know, the "Republican" leader in the State Assembly is affectionately known as Tom Double Cross. His Senate "Republican" counterpart is Christine Radogno (sp.?). Both are mindless materialist meatheads and cheerleaders for abortion and perversion and neither is notably in favor of the right to keep and bear arms unless their masters the Daleys and/or Rahm Emmanuel have a sudden unexpected change of heart on the subject. Pensions forever/spending cuts never! Yeah, that's what I want choosing US Senators. With voters here, results are seldom better but hope springs eternal and it is always possible (see Fitzgerald, Peter who defeated Carole Mostly Fraud and then run out by your pals in the Daley/GOP Combine).

I take it you don't like him (BTW, he isn't my candidate.)

It would be a credit to this forum if even one of you could post your objections in a rational and reasoned manner, rather than frothing at the keyboard and resorting to sophomoric liberalesque bullshit.

BTW, how did repealing DADT do away with "conduct unbecoming" and turn into some sort of green flag for the homos anyway? I recall DADT as being the thing that let the homos stay in.

The drug war isn't working, it fosters widespread corruption (like a DOJ that arms Mexican cartels), and someone in high places is getting filthy rich off keeping the borders open.

Consider, too, that if you give the government the power to regulate anything an adult willingly puts in their body, they will regulate everything, including what you eat (and how much, eventually). That is not a Constitutionally granted power of the Federal Government. In the meantime, keep throwing away 4th, 5th, and 14th amendment rights on that altar. How's that working out? It paved the way for the TSA groping crotches, soon to be along a highway near you.

His habit of changing political parties between his honest identity as a Libertoonian and his stealth act pretending to be GOP that makes many sensible folks think of him as a cross-dresser.

Really? Libertoonian? What's that? Not in my Fink & Wagnalls.

What about all the Liberals in the GOP, how come y'all aren't conflating them with a faggot?

Or was Rudy OK? (After all he high stepped with the Rockettes...in costume.)

For that matter, how about the huge number of GOP pretending to be Conservative?

They all take the pork home--name one who doesn't and gets re-elected.

Not saying that's right, just the way things are done on the Hill.

Seriously, though, if you have some intent to have a serious discussion, let me know, I'd like to see one.

Returning the election of US Senators to state legislators may look pretty good to Florida conservatives since your state legislature is pretty trustworthy compared to most. OTOH, have mercy on such as Illinois whose "Republican" state legislative "leaders" are in an endless contest to see who most resembles Obozo ideologically. See also a lot of other states whose voters are much more capable of and inclined to vote for conservatives than are legislators.

Now that Connie Mack is running for Senate, I suspect that he will soon be joining Marc Rubio in the Senate, courtesy of the Florida voters. When he does, it will have the popular election seal of approval which is a lot better than the approval of Charlie Crist and his unprincipled power broker buddies.

The Senate will have many imperial senators whether chosen by the voters or by their state capitol politician pals. Better the voters can reject them directly.

Bawney Fwank is older, and a faggot, but not all older people are Congressmen or faggots or both. Not sure what that pusbag from Massachussetts has to do with the Texan y’all were flinging dung at, but Rick Perry’s a Texan, and he ain’t getting any younger, so where does that leave him?

I don't like him. I REALLY don't like him.

You really think Obozo was trying to get the homos and other perverts out of the military? I don't think so and I would bet that most here don't think so either. Clnton did DADT as a halfway house to perverting te military and stripping its effectiveness. Now, who would think that the Paulistinian had similar ambitions? I would! I would! And so would most sensible observers of paleoPaulie.

I can live without the drug war as a residual of my own long ago libertarianism (I was once a state libertarian officer until I grew up). I fail to grasp the border mania which makes me a distinct minority here. Offending the growing Hispanic minority is not a very bright political strategy especially since they tend to be social conservatives when not terrified of deportation (not that deportation is a very practical or workable plan) into the arms of the Demonrats.

I would certainly prohibit the entry of abortionists' tools into human bodies whether maternal or in utero. If that threatens all your other liberties in some way, too bad. If you were not born, you would not be posting. Give the babies the same opportunity. As a recovering lawyer, I can tell you that I never failed to defend and assert the 4th, 5th and 14th amendments and the rest of the constitution as opportunity arose.

Libertoonian is a disgrace to the once respectable school of thought known as libertarian. Sort of cartoon stick figures and phonies like El Run Paulie.

Liberals in the GOP??? I attack Paul as a hobby but my main target now is Romney. Son of Brainwashed! See the Youtube video: What Romney doesn't want Republicans to hear. See Romney's own campaign website allegedly correcting Romney's negatives: whyromney.com. Why the other GOP candidates have not flayed this second generation imposter alive is beyond me. Destruction of Slick Willard aka Mittens is now job #1 within the GOP. I post regularly my desire that Lugar be destroyed by Mourdock, that Mack be nominated and then elected in Florida over the liberals in the GOP and Nelson.

Rudy was a lot better mayor of New York than the more libertoonianly inclined Demonrat in drag Bloomberg. That is a very low standard, However, and does not justify Rudy appearing in public as an actual drag queen, caving on the abortion question in favor of the leftist position, etc. Happy? I would like to see Rudy prosecute the TSA and the crotch grabbers. Wouldn't you?

Also: Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, Scott Brown, Linsay Graham, Mark Nancyboy Kirk, LAMARR!!!, Bob Corker, John Cornyn, Lisa Moocowski and a lot of other liberal faux "Republicans."

Taking all that pork home is even worse for phonies like Ron Paul who regularly pose as fiscal conservatives than it is for acknowledged and official members of the socialist kleptocracy like Diapers DeLauro or Nancy Pelosi.

IIRC your reference was a claim that we ought to distinguish between elder congressmen and flaming faggots. Fair enough. I am older and neither a Congresscritter nor certainly a faggot. Fwank and paleoPaulie share age, occupation AND voting records on foreign policy, ummm, lifestyle issues, foreign policy and a lot more. Rick Perry is a Texan and no faggot nor a supporter of faggotry. Paul is a Texan and not a faggot but he does support....”

You really think Obozo was trying to get the homos and other perverts out of the military?

Not for a New York second, but how did a 'repeal' of the halfway measure to demoralize the ranks become a green light to go whole hog?

It wasn't a repeal, but another step for the bungholes who want to destroy this country.

Abortion? Murder most foul, imho. I'd love to see it banned except for tubal, nonviable, and ectopic pregnancies that physically threaten the life of the mother. (In those cases, the baby will die, anyway.)

If that can't be stopped at the Federal Level, though, letting the States reclaim their power to stop it at the State level would cut down on it somewhat, and at least get our tax dollars out of the funding. Otherwise, we're all being forced at gunpoint to fund murder for hire.

It isn't the Hispanic minority I'm worried about offending. Here's why. If the folks who are of Hispanic heritage who are here legally are the minority (of the Hispanic population here), I don't think they'd be offended at having those who are here illegally expelled, simply because they are the people who are suffering from the whole 'wetback/criminal/gang/drug cartel' image--it is transferred to them by the headline grabbing antics of the illegals.

If the illegals are the minority, eff 'em. They are here illegally and should be sent packing.

No moral dillemma there, and if we don't stand up for our laws, who will?

Failure to do so is what has let the problem get this far, and failure to address it in meaningful terms will only let it get worse. It should have been done long ago, but we are where we are.

Romney is not acceptable, and as far as I am concerned is just a better mannered Barry-O without the same race issues.

Destruction of Slick Willard aka Mittens is now job #1 within the GOP.

Agreed! He is the biggest threat to the nation outside of the current administration, and would likely not pursue the corruption being exposed and seek prosecutions of those who have participated in The Looting of America.

I post regularly my desire that Lugar be destroyed by Mourdock, that Mack be nominated and then elected in Florida over the liberals in the GOP and Nelson.

Works for me.

Rudy did fairly well in NYC as mayor (well, better than the current one), but that won't play to a much wider audience (as POTUS). It just isn't New York City out here. Acting as a prosecutor, though, I'd love to see him nail the larcenous crotch-grabbing TSA--and while he's at it--the elements of the DOJ, and all other agencies involved running guns to Mexico as well--especially since they appear to have funded even the purchases with our money.

As for pork, aside from the fact they all do it (not that that makes it right), it is ironic that he can vote against the bill and still bring home the bacon. But that isn't a comment on Paul so much as the whole system.

A big part of the DC game is to introduce stuff, whether or not it gets passed, so you can brag about it come re-election time. That demonstrates what a fren' of the people you are (good for votes).

For me, it’s just an academic issue. I know full well I’ll never see it in my life time. I’m not starting any sort of crusade to bring it about.

Now, the 16th Amendment is an entirely different story......

Levy is just angry because Paul doesn't walk lock step with the theocracy known as Israel. To Nazify an opponent is the typical MO for Zionists. So predictable.

Israel? A theocracy? That would be a great surprise to David ben Gurion and Golda Meir and a lot of other atheist or agnostic leaders of the Israeli Labor Party. Likud tends to attract support from Jewish believers. Some parties like Agudath Israel are flat out religious. So what? So are a probable great majority of American conservatives. Israel, BTW, protects and funds the restoration of most Christian holy sites in Israel.

PaleoPaulie is quite anxious to stand idly by while Iran develops nukes and carries out Ahmadinejad's specific threat to nuke Israel. After the incineration of Israel, El Run will hold a press conference to pose for holy pictures and retaliate by saying: tsk, tsk, Ahmadinejad, you are a baaaaad boy! Or, if the nutcases attack American troops or installations, maybe the Galveston windtunnel and modern=day Neville Chamberlain will issue "letters of marque and reprisal" to six brain-damaged teenagers with rowboats and pea shooters authorizing them to attack Teheran and loot Teheran. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! Whoops, no rum. Muzzies don't allow alcohol and we would not want to offend them or their spectacularly impressive culture.

Israel is our ally. We aren't going to let Ahmadinejad or any of Obozo's (or Ron Paul's) other Islamofascist nutcase pals eliminate Israel, our ally, by nukes or otherwise. Ron Paul DOES march in lockstep with every enemy that this country has had in the last century.
