But wait! There are still some Newt bashers on this forum who think Newt should have called romney and congratulated him for this. Can you get any more ridiculous?

Conservatives deal with facts and reach conclusions; liberals have conclusions and sell them as facts. That illusion is now shattered.”
It is NOT shattered. Romney is now and has always been as liberal as they come.

Romney and Ron Paul have been playing kissy face...
Mark Levin just said that the Romneys and the Pauls are good buddies
and that Romney has said that Paul should join him because his Paulites would feel right at home in his group...
Moderates and libertarians together at last...
Who knew ???

Will NOT vote for a backstabber and dog abuser
who helped Obama get into office so that HE
could run against Obama.
GOP - Know this. You are finished.

And the last time anything like this occurred in the Republican Party, it was the cannibalization of Goldwater in 1964.

I completely agree with the post. Romney has done a horrible job of selling himself to the voters. Instead, he’s relying heavily on preconceived notions of who and what he is, to win votes.
I must add, that this is a phrase that will launch a thousand taglines:
Conservatives deal with facts and reach conclusions; liberals have conclusions and sell them as facts.

He [Romney] spent 17 million doing nothing but trying to delegitimize and demonize Gingrich with gross distortions of history. Are you saying that Gingrich did not sit on a bench to promote global warming with Nancy Pelosi? Are you saying that Gingrich did not accept George Soros' money for that ad? Are you saying that Gingrich was not the first Speaker of the House to be reprimanded (by a 395-28 vote!)? Are you saying that Gingrich was not paid $1.6 million for consulting by Freddie Mac [snicker, snicker]?

Matthew Chapter 7, Jesus Christ speaking
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Behold the fruits of mormonism.

At this point, I wouldnt vote for Romney for dog catcher even if he was running in a three way race against Lenin and Marx. I will support Republican candidates for Congress and the Senate. But I could not, at this point, vote for any man as scurrilous and underhanded as Romney for President.
