Breaker breaker good buddy...it’s a citizen’s band radio. 10-4?
To: SandRat
You can always use smokes signals until the EPA arrives.

It’s what the truckers use on the interstate.

I guess a long wire in the trees would work for "short distances". I've been a licensed ham radio operator for over 55 years and worked 88 countries with a "wire in the trees" using less than 50 watts of power. With thin wire and a little ingenuity, you can span thousands of miles with an antenna that is virtually invisible.

Expansion of definitions and defining what is now within purview.
They had to the same thing after 1984 and 1996.

Does 10 meter able really mean Cable??? No. It's the length of a full wave at a particular frequency.

Oh crumbs....Thank you. I had no idea. I don’t think they are used here in Panama.
Thank you so much for your time.
To: conservativesister
P.S.
I need to study my comment to you more. They very well could be using it here unknown to me.
Thank you again.

Any Radio Shack will have them; also truck stops.

Thank you.
I suddenly remember what it is. “CB” was all over the place years ago. I just don’t think it is used in Panama; therefore, I had forgotten what it was.
10-4.
To: conservativesister
Thank you. I now realize what it is. I had just forgotten after all these years.

We don’t have Radio Shack in Panama, but there are other places I can look now that you wonderful folks have adviced me.
Thank you.
10-4.

And today, what looked like an ACORN subcontractor pulled in to my driveway and informed me rather jovially, that he was there to do some work on my meter. 'What kind of work on my meter?', I asked. 'I'm going to replace it', he answered. 'With what?', I asked. 'A Smartmeter', he responded. 'No you're not', I quipped. 'Have a nice day', he answered - and left.
I called around to my neighbors and was told he received the same reception at each home.

This guy was good with covert antennas. Maybe hiding telescoping antennas in the flagpoles of the Democrat SA/SS flags might work for a while.

Good on ya - I've done the same except from 10,000 feet.
